Auction For Nature a huge success

The 17th edition of Auction for Nature, held on May 24, 2025 at Reptielenhuis De Aarde in Breda, was a great success. Bidders from across the Netherlands raised an impressive €2,000 for the protection of the Monkey Tree Frog. Once again, this annual event uniquely combined hobby and conservation.

During the auction, bids were placed on a wide variety of items donated by corporate sponsors and private individuals. The collection included hobby materials such as UV lamps, substrates, enclosures, decorations, entrance tickets and animal books. Each of these items holds a valuable place in the world of terrarium enthusiasts.

The proceeds from the auction will be fully allocated to conservation projects focused on Phyllomedusa species. These strikingly colored tree frogs deserve extra attention, in part due to the threats facing their natural habitats.
