Auction for Nature 2025 raised €2,000 for the Monkey Tree Frog. A successful edition where enthusiasts and conservation came together at Reptielenhuis De Aarde.
One of the world’s most well-known, and most endangered, amphibians has thrived following its release into artificially made wetlands near Mexico City.
The Herpetofauna Foundation has donated to four projects, supporting the protection and conservation of reptiles and amphibians worldwide. These contributions will help continue the crucial work of the Cahuita Turtle Rescue, ARCO Spain, the Snakebite Survival Fund, and the Orinoco Crocodile Project.
On March 21, Herpetofauna Foundation organized an inspiring evening at Reptielenhuis de Aarde. With a large turnout, €350 was raised and doubled to €700, benefiting The Wild Snake Project.
The Herpetofauna Foundation has taken another step forward in its commitment to protecting reptiles and amphibians by becoming a member of GlobeGuards.
According to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, snakebite patients in sub-Saharan Africa are often given treatments that are badly made, badly marketed and badly regulated.
Last Sunday, the first Astro Rangerclub Kick Off took place at Pantropica, where visitors could meet turtle Astro and his friends, including a king python, bearded dragon, and tarantula. Astro enjoyed meeting and cuddling with the children in the beautiful Pantropica jungle.
The Herpetofauna Foundation is proud to start the year well with wonderful donations. In total, we are transferring 5000 euros to nature conservation projects related to endangered lizards, turtles and toads.
