Since its founding in 2008, the Herpetofauna Foundation has been fully run by volunteers and functioning as a non-profit organisation. Over the years, the foundation has expanded considerably, and we are now actively looking for new volunteers to join our team. Our goal is to build a dynamic, dedicated group of volunteers to continue supporting as many conservation projects and scientific research initiatives as possible. If you have a warm heart for cold blood like us, and want to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you!
Volunteers Are the Heart of Our Work
Volunteering at the Herpetofauna Foundation is incredibly diverse, and your contributions will be shaped by your talents. That’s why we believe your unique skills can help us make a difference. Are you skilled in creating online content, developing educational materials, or designing merchandise? Or maybe you're a natural at public speaking? These are all ways you can truly make a difference! Plus, you’ll always have the full support of our team.
Organise and Experience
We organise different types of events and also enjoy attending as exhibitors at other events.
As a volunteer, you’ll have a great day with your fellow volunteers, while helping visitors discover the world of cold-blooded creatures and educating them on the importance of their protection. Become a corporate sponsor
Is your company committed to the protection of animals and nature? Become a corporate sponsor with the Herpetofauna Foundation.
As a company, you can contribute to our international work through a donation, which can be made annually or more frequently. The amount of the donation is entirely up to you, and we can allocate it specifically to a project selected by your company.
We will keep you informed about the progress of the project(s) and feature your company’s details on our website.
In addition to the standard sponsorship options, there are also two special funds that your company can choose to support. The Herpetofauna Sustainability Fund, where we offset your CO2 emissions by planting mangroves in Kenya. And the Snakebite Survival Fund, which provides life-saving assistance to snakebite victims and offers education to prevent snakebites and protect snakes.
