Volunteering
Volunteering is open to everyone, no matter how much time you have – there’s always something you can contribute. To keep things organized, the Herpetofauna Foundation works with self-managed teams, each focused on a specific area.
The Herpetofauna Foundation is committed to protecting these remarkable animals and their habitats. Together we can help preserve biodiversity and strengthen ecosystems.
Your involvement makes a difference, no matter how small. Reptiles and amphibians play a vital role in nature, and by standing up for them together we help ensure a healthy future for these extraordinary species.
Join us and make an impact together
Will you sponsor the striking gharial, the elusive Dutch fire salamander or one of the other fascinating members of our Big Six?
Your support truly makes a difference.
Support our mission to protect reptiles and amphibians worldwide! The Herpetofauna Foundation is focused on conserving these unique creatures and their natural habitats.
With your support, we can fund essential projects such as habitat conservation, research, and educational programs. No matter the size, every donation helps us make a lasting impact and spread awareness about the vital role reptiles and amphibians play in our ecosystems.
Do you have a warm heart for cold blood?
Is your company committed to the protection of animals and nature? Become a corporate sponsor with the Herpetofauna Foundation.
As a company, you can contribute to our international work through a donation, which can be made annually or more frequently. The amount of the donation is entirely up to you, and we can allocate it specifically to a project selected by your company.
We will keep you informed about the progress of the project(s) and feature your company’s details on our website.
In addition to the standard sponsorship options, there are also two special funds that your company can choose to support. The Herpetofauna Sustainability Fund, where we offset your CO2 emissions by planting mangroves in Kenya. And the Snakebite Survival Fund, which provides life-saving assistance to snakebite victims and offers education to prevent snakebites and protect snakes.
Fill out the form, and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible to discuss the available opportunities.
Volunteering is open to everyone, no matter how much time you have – there’s always something you can contribute. To keep things organized, the Herpetofauna Foundation works with self-managed teams, each focused on a specific area.
In some cases, specific expertise is required to carry out certain tasks effectively. That’s why we occasionally post vacancies for roles that require specialized knowledge or skills. This ensures that every part of the organization continues to function at its best.
