Sustainable restoration of nature as the way forward
The Herpetofauna Foundation has been working for years on the restoration of mangrove forests in Kenya. These forests are part of our global nature conservation projects. Your company can easily contribute to the reforestation efforts. We handle the entire process, including logistics, in collaboration with our local partner.
Mangrove forests are vital for many species including fish, birds, reptiles and amphibians. They serve as natural nurseries and protect biodiversity, additionally mangroves play an important role in preventing floods and support the irrigation of agricultural land.
Boost your ESG score and reduce CO2 by restoring mangroves
Mangrove forests play an essential role in climate stabilization. They capture about 17 million tons of CO₂ annually worldwide — equivalent to the emissions of 4 million cars! By supporting the restoration of these forests, your company directly aids in lowering CO₂ emissions and preserving biodiversity.
Sustainability has become a top priority for businesses worldwide. By investing in nature restoration you take a clear step toward building a more sustainable world. By participating in our projects, you help the environment and improve your ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) score, and take action toward realizing your sustainability goals.
