Project Kakere women group

Map kakarewomengroup.960x0

The kakare women group is a non profit organisation which is established in Uganda and is fully run by women. This is important because of the position of women in Uganda, which is still very different from other parts in the world.
Their organisation train women in providing education on snakebites, prevention, first aid and safe ways to catch and displace snakes safely.
Thanks to their commitment many snakebites can be prevented, and snakes can be safed every year.
They primarly focus on women with their group, who regularly come into contact with snakes during their daily activities.
Herpetofauna helps the group with a new project in a area where they want to reach upto 10.000 people and safe a lot of lives of humans and animals.
