Jocotoco Ecuador

As a foundation we’re very closely engaged in the work of the Jocotoco foundation which focusses on the conservation efforts of all species of Atelopus frogs in the area.

In a recent survey of the known areas, which was financially supported by the Herpetofauna foundation, no Atelopus were found unfortunately, this could mean that they have migrated to other areas and plans are made to survey these areas as well.
