Become a volunteer

The Herpetofauna Foundation is growing rapidly and is becoming an important presence both in the Netherlands and internationally. That's why we're always eager to welcome enthusiastic volunteers with fresh ideas. As a volunteer, you'll join a friendly team where we work together in a positive, lively environment.

Becoming a volunteer is possible for everyone, regardless of how much time you have available – there’s always something to do!

The Herpetofauna Foundation works with independent teams, each with its own specialization. Each team has a leader who ensures coordination and progress. Teams make independent decisions within their field, while the leader regularly checks in with the management team to ensure alignment across the organization. More information about the teams can be found at the bottom of this page.

Already excited? Sign up as a volunteer using the button below!

Currently, we are recruiting volunteers exclusively in The Netherlands and Belgium.
