We’re wrapping up the evening with a festive bang, courtesy of dialect rock band Vølle! With vølle wille and vølle schik, this group delivers pure Neder-Saxon rock, focusing on songs by Normaal, Bökkers, and Jovink & de Voederbietels. Known for turning tent parties upside down, they’ll be bringing the house down at Phoenix on November 8.
This year, Stichting Herpetofauna and Poppodium Phoenix are raising funds for two important causes:
• Protecting the endangered Orinoco crocodile in Venezuela – Heavily hunted for its skin in the 19th and 20th centuries, this species now numbers fewer than 3,000 adults in the wild.
• Planting mangrove forests in Kenya – Brain Youth Group is working to restore natural mangrove habitats. This crucial work helps save countless reptiles and amphibians from a path toward extinction.
