As a passionate ecologist, I have been conducting research and monitoring on (non-)native species for 10 years. Most of my work is directed to better understand and/or protect species of herpetofauna, either through generating new data or utilizing open-source data. I aim to incorporate gained insights into policy and conservation plans, and contribute to public and scientific knowledge through publishing texts. Within my projects, I collaborate with local and national governments and NGOs, and involve research institutions and universities where I guide students during their thesis projects. I enjoy bridging the gap between science, practice, and policy.
