As the grand-niece of renowned herpetologist Bill Haast and Clarita Haast, pioneers of the Miami Serpentarium, Michelle has a lifelong connection with the world of reptiles. Growing up with such influential figures, Michelle developed a profound respect for snake conservation from an early age. This passion was further nurtured during her high school years, where she gained hands-on experience working at the Miami Serpentarium.

Michelle brings invaluable insights to the King Cobra Conservancy. Her commitment to continuing her family’s legacy of reptile conservation is evident in her active involvement with the conservancy’s initiatives, aimed at preserving the majestic and often misunderstood King Cobra.
